1947 Partners, LLC is a women-owned business focused on investing and developing Rural Community projects in Northeast Pennsylvania and Hancock, New York. We invest in projects that will have a positive impact in the local community.  The current flagship project for the portfolio is the historic Hancock Capitol Theatre™- built in 1909.

The Hancock Capitol Theatre™is hosting top regional bands for Summer Stage 2022 beginning in June 2022. The Theatre also hosts a wide range of community events. Jennifer Karp is the owner and Managing Partner of the Hancock Capitol Theatre. Karp is a real estate investor, surgical physician assistant, and certified dietitian-nutritionist.

Karp is a graduate of Syracuse University, George Washington University and is currently enrolled in Cornell University’s commercial real estate certificate program.
